"Both the men’s basketball team and the women’s basketball team play in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Center seats approximately 14,000 spectators, and cost about $11.5 million to build. Overall the Tigers are 344-117 in the building and in the SEC, they’re 169-101. Also located within the building is a practice gym used for basketball and volleyball practices, home and visitor dressing rooms, offices for the Tiger Athletic Foundation, coaches’ dressing rooms, building administration offices and theater dressing rooms. The Assembly Center has been the site of two men's NCAA Regional basketball tournaments -- 1976 and 1986.
