"The Marquette University Golden Eagles men’s basketball team plays its home games in the Bradley Center in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The Bradley Center is also the home of the Milwaukee Admirals hockey team, the Milwaukee Bucks basketball and the Milwaukee Wave professional soccer club. In addition, the Bradley Center hosts many additional concert and family entertainment events. Marquette has registered 12 undefeated home seasons, the most recent in 2001-02, when the Golden Eagles were 16-0. Marquette participates in Conference USA and regularly contends for the Conference title and is common participant in post-season play. Major rivals include Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Saint Louis and Tulane."

"Conference USA is one of the youngest conferences in college sports having been formed in 1995. However, C-USA has quickly made a name for itself with its overall outstanding play in basketball and football, as it has in a number of additional sports. In basketball, Cincinnati, Marquette, Louisville and Memphis have become post-season regulars and the conference has continuously placed teams near the top of the national ranking. In football, Conference USA has frequently sent teams to bowl games and has bowl contracts with the Liberty Bowl, the GMAC Bowl, the Houston Bowl, the New Orleans Bowl and the brand new Hawaii Bowl. C-USA programs include, Army, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Depaul, East Carolina, Houston, Louisville, Marquette, Memphis, Saint Louis, South Florida, Southern Miss, TCU, Tulane and UAB." |
