"The DePaul Blue Demons women’s and men’s basketball teams play their home games in the Allstate Arena (formerly the Rosemont Horizon) in the Village of Rosemont in Chicago Illinois. The Allstate arena is also home to the Chicago Wolves and the Chicago Rush as well as such events as the Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and concert events including Lauren Hill, N’Sync and the Boston Pops. The DePaul Blue Demons play in Conference USA. Major Rivals include Cincinnati, Marquette, Saint Louis, Loyola Chicago, Notre Dame, Northern Illinois, Saint Joseph’s and Seton Hall."

"Conference USA is one of the youngest conferences in college sports having been formed in 1995. However, C-USA has quickly made a name for itself with its overall outstanding play in basketball and football, as it has in a number of additional sports. In basketball, Cincinnati, Marquette, Louisville and Memphis have become post-season regulars and the conference has continuously placed teams near the top of the national ranking. In football, Conference USA has frequently sent teams to bowl games and has bowl contracts with the Liberty Bowl, the GMAC Bowl, the Houston Bowl, the New Orleans Bowl and the brand new Hawaii Bowl. C-USA programs include, Army, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Depaul, East Carolina, Houston, Louisville, Marquette, Memphis, Saint Louis, South Florida, Southern Miss, TCU, Tulane and UAB." |
