"Hockey began in St. Louis in 1967-68. The Blues were the best of the NHL’s six expansion teams, playing a disciplined defensive game that allowed them to outperform the other fledgling franchises. Although the team made the playoffs 21 years in a row, they have yet to win a Stanley Cup. The Blues have had their share of great players including Brett Hull, Al MacInnis and Adam Oates."
