"One of hockey’s ""Original 6"" the Bruins have a long history in the NHL. The team joined the NHL in its beginning stages in 1924. The B’s have won five titles in their history, most recently in 1972 when Bobby Orr led the team. The B’s suffered through some tough times in the 80s and early 90s but have come on strong of late. With top line center Joe Thorton playing like one of the best two-way centers in the game, the B’s are riding high. Since the team's first season, many players, coaches, and general managers have pledged their loyalty to the black and gold. In doing so they have made their mark on Boston Bruins' history. Over the years, nine players have been honored by having their numbers retired."

"The Fleet Center is Boston’s premier sporting and entertainment venue and serves as the home to the Boston Celtics as well as the Bruins. Since its opening in 1995 the FleetCenter has hosted such legends as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Dave Matthews Band and many others. The 19,600 seat arena boasts two restaurants, a private club, four promenade suites and more than 2,500 club seats.
